The best Android smartphones under 400 euros

Honor 8

difficult not to mention the new flagship of Honor in this selection of the best Android smartphones less than 400 euros. Like the OnePlus 3 Honor 8 is a terminal to the very good quality-price ratio. Its premium design made of metal and glass has nothing to envy to a Galaxy S6, for example. Just can t – you blame him ease to catch the scratches.

the Honor 8 is a 5.2-inch with a Full-HD definition smarpthone. (Under the hood, a Kirin 950 octocore processor four Cortex-A72 clocked at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.8 GHz), 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage internal. Its photo capabilities are also excellent thanks to its double camera rear 12 megapixels,

Sony Xperia X Compact

the Sony Xperia X Compact is the latest of Sony, as much by age than by size. It is quite unique in its kind, because there is no real competitor of this size (4.6 inches) on the market. The smartphone has no real force, field in which we could think it makes things truly better than others.

in regards to performance, we find a hexacore 650 Snapdragon processor which, unfortunately, is not that there are the best on the market. We would have preferred to find the potential of its big brother, the Xperia XZ , or still on the Snapdragon 652, but must settle for the model still underneath. For “normal” use, it will be more than enough, but if you plan to run many games (which is not necessarily practical on such a small screen) you may opt for another model.

Lenovo Motorola Moto Z Play

Le bike Z Play was unveiled at the IFA 2016. This smartphone is unique since it has famous modules bike Mods: Accessories that you can associate with your smartphone to develop potential. In theory, this is a good idea, but in practice they are not always useful and cost a lot of money anyway.

marketed since September 2016, Z Play is an affordable high-end smartphone that offers a very nice 5.5 inch in definition Full HD screen. It embeds a 625 Snapdragon processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory. Like many Motorola smartphones, it also offers a Microsd up to 256 GB drive.

Side picture, the bike Z Play disappoints somewhat. It uses a 16 million pixels sensor which is sensitive to the intensity of the colors, a dual LED and an opening of f/2.0, but not of optical image stabilizer. Point positive, 3100 mAh battery will very well hold the charge and PowerTurbo technology saves several hours of use in just 15 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)

the Galaxy 2017 A5 is considered by some as one of the variants of the S7 Galaxy Mini , alongside the Galaxy A3 (2017) . Unlike other smartphones in this list, the Samsung Galaxy A5 does not be a high-end smartphone. He is not able to compete with the behemoths of 2016. However, its design is premium.

it brings its share of disappointments, especially at the level of the camera that is far from being as good as we had imagined it. It is not inherently bad, but we expected better. Fortunately, the smartphone also features qualities, we can talk for example about its elegant appearance that reminds enough Galaxy S7, or my big screen 5.2 inches. Performance is acceptable if one keeps in mind that this is a mid-range smartphone, so don’t expect feats. Its battery, on the other hand, is simply excellent.

LG G5 SE

LG G5 was part of the great of 2016. The LG G5 , is superior on many points, but the G5 SE remains in the race and my less than 400 euros price plays to my advantage. my big difference residing in its Snapdragon 652 instead of 820 Snapdragon processor.

the G5 had distinguished itself in 2016, particularly thanks to its modular system. G5 SE takes the same mechanism. The camera is very good, the performances are also well despite a processor performance (that they can’t really compete with those of LG G5.
the only downside of this smartphone is its battery which, in addition to be disappointing in terms of autonomy, does not the gadget has become current on the high-end models: quick reloading.
