Exynos 9810: is this the future Galaxy S8 processor?

the Samsung Galaxy S8 is the great absent of this MWC 2017. Pending my official presentation, it will settle rumors for a while. Today is the turn of the CPU of the device to be at the center of conversation. Would that be the 9810 Exynos?

Samsung has used to use two different processors on its top of the range. European models use the home processor: an Exynos. Models Americans use a Snapdragon, like most other manufacturers also. Recently, we had explained that Samsung would have put an embargo on the new Snapdragon, which means that no manufacturer can use this processor as long as it has not unveiled it on its S8. But what of the S8, the Exynos material?

It will probably be the Exynos 9810, and more exactly the 9810V Exynos or 9810M. What are the differences between the two? They have two hearts Mongoose M2 and benefit from an engraving in a 10nm., the difference is mainly at the level of the GPU: on the 9810V model the Mali-G71 chip would have 18 hearts while on model 9810M it would be 20.

The point of having a very powerful processor is mainly in the VR

what do you think?

When we could test this Exynos and the Snapdragon 835, we can of course compare them. It would also be interesting to see if they can compete with the Kirin of Huawei/Honor and with Apple’s A10 processor. We will keep you informed!

According to you, is it important to have a (very) powerful processor on my smartphone or don’t want you as a smartphone that works smoothly?
