Android Wear 2.0: the LG Watch Style and Watch Sport are official

do you think that the smartwatches market is dead? Google is not agree because he developed a new version of its operating system: Android Wear 2.0. As an OS is nothing without a device to use, he worked collaboratively with LG to offer us two connected Watch: the Watch Sport and the Watch Style. These are now official!

LG Watch Style & Watch sports: design and finish

the two watches are circular, like a large majority of the smartwatches today. The Watch Style is, however, much thinner than the Sport Watch as they respectively 10.8 and 14.2 millimeters thick. This last is not only thicker but also more wide, has a better definition (480 x 480 unlike the Style that has 360 x 360) and technical potential. Style Watch has a 240 mAh battery, unlike the other shows which has a capacity of 430 mAh, allowing so to get better battery life.

LG Watch Style & Watch sports: two different audiences

as the name suggests, the Sport model is designed for fitness enthusiasts while the Style model is a more typical and more traditional smartwatch. The Sport model has a built-in heart rate sensor you will not find on the Style template. One other notable feature with the two smartwatches is the integration of Google Wizard. This opens the smartwatch in a range more wide voice commands and features.

In terms of specifications, the Sport Watch is the highest model of both. It boasts a slightly larger screen and high definition, 1.38 inch (480 × 480 pixels). There are also additional 256 MB of RAM (768 against 512 MB), a larger 430 mAh battery and a resistance to dust and waterproof IP68 rating against lIP67 for the Watch Style. This means that the Sport Watch can be submerged in water for long periods of time, which could be handy for swimming.
